Over 40% of Americans suffer from Dry Eye

...and the numbers are rapidly growing.

Dry Eye has been around as long as I can remember, but the true cause and treatment opportunities have exploded over the last three years. That is when I decided I wanted to begin further educating myself on this disease, and to ultimately open our own Dry Eye Center. We opened our new clinic in September 2016; currently we are the only dedicated dry eye center in Pierce County. I have attended numerous seminars and speak on Dry Eye to other doctors educating them on the necessity of providing this type of care. I really enjoy seeing dry eye patients and enjoy educating about it. It truly is an area where we can change people’s lives. I now work with my dry eye specialist Kari in our Dry Eye Center. She is a caring and accomplished technician who is very good at what she does. Together we work with our dry eye patients to provide a personalized treatment plan, and much needed follow up care to achieve a very high level of success. My heart is to care and serve my patients, and working in the Dry Eye Center at East Main Vision Clinic is a great opportunity.
